Build skills to confidently interpret and navigate construction design documents
This basic print reading course is designed to give students a strong foundation in navigating commercial construction designs and specifications.
Whether active on a jobsite or construction office, a solid understanding of design fundamentals strengthens each individual and their organization.
Throughout the course, students will utilize a live set of drawings and specifications from a recently completed multi-level hotel.

Students will be exposed to a comprehensive review of the integrated systems necessary for navigating the design documents of a modern hotel. This includes acquiring basic knowledge that is transferrable across multiple commercial markets.

None! Each student will be provided a set of design documents, which they may keep. Students are welcome to bring a pen, highlighters, and notebook.
