Stephen, owner of A3 CM Services, LLC, brings more than 30 years of construction experience to his work as a consultant, instructor, and mentor. A military veteran, Stephen began his career in the trades as a carpenter, building a strong hands-on foundation that continues to shape his practical, people-first approach to construction leadership.

He holds a degree in Construction Management from Northern Michigan University and has worked across diverse markets nationwide, collaborating with developers, architects, general contractors, and trade partners.

As a national instructor for AGC, Stephen teaches CM-Lean, the Supervisory Training Program, and the Project Manager Development Program. He also co-authored the CM-Lean 2.0 curriculum (2023) and partners with organizations to deliver customized training, ranging from Blueprint Reading to full Lean deployment.

Outside of work, Stephen values family, enjoys trail riding, and is often accompanied by his loyal sidekick, Jud (see photo). Additional photos throughout the site offer a glimpse into both his professional work and life outside the jobsite.
